About Us

DEcadence? DeCaDANCE? DeKAWdence? No matter what you call us, DeCadence ("duh-KAY-dence") is a student-run, all-inclusive a cappella group from UC Berkeley that loves to add some music and fun to your day. We sing indie, pop, jazz, and any other genre that comes our way, often while sporting our iconic gold capes. Check out our repertoire page to see the type of music we sing.

Events

Our Spring 2023 concert, “The DeCadence Storybook,” is happening Saturday April 29th at 7:30 PM in Genetics & Plant Bio 100, and Sunday April 30th at 12:30 PM in Morrison 125. Presale tickets are available here!

Auditions

We will be auditioning all voice parts and vocal percussionists in Fall 2023! We'll share details at the beginning of the semester. For now, go check out our auditions page, and stay tuned for more info!
